This Is Why We Play
The August James Band believes in the power of music to connect, inspire, and transform. We approach each performance with passion and authenticity, seeking to create meaningful moments that hold you in the moment and leave you wanting more. This is one band that means every note they play.
Drawing from the rich traditions of blues, rock, funk, and soul, we honor the classics while bringing our own unique energy and interpretation to every song. Whether performing originals or covers, we strive to deliver performances that are dynamic and emotionally resonant. Music is a force that brings people together. Music is a force that heals. And music saves lives. We're a band on a mission to make a difference with music. To share our music, and to bring diverse communities and musicians together to do what they do best. Making music, and making waves. Let's Jam.
Above all, we value the incredible community that forms around live music. This community means the world to us. We are deeply humbled and grateful for every opportunity that we get to share our music and to become and build A Bridge For The Intangible. Hear what we have to say.
